From your hotel or the Marrakech airport, we will depart towards the Dades Gorges. Passing through Tizi-n-Tishka, in the High Atlas Mountains, we will visit the Ait Ben Haddou site, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which has also been the setting for many films such as Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator and Alexander. After lunch we will enjoy the beautiful natural landscapes and historical monuments of the Kasbah Taourirt in Ourzazate, Skoura and the Valley of the Roses, famous for its annual Rose Festival, where we will spend the night.
Today’s goal is to reach Merzouga, which is known for its highest sand dunes in North Africa. THE DESERT! It is called Erg Chebbi Sahara Desert and it is about 20 km long and 5 km wide and it is a unique and multifaceted environment. On our way, we will have the opportunity to see many oases like Tinjdad oasis. We will continue our tour passing through the small Berber towns of Mellab and Touroug. Arrival in Rissani where we will have lunch. After this break, we will continue our way enjoying the green oasis of palm trees of Ziz -Tafilalet and the black desert before arriving in Merzouga to spend the night in a Riad.
After breakfast, we will go to the city of Rissani also known as Tafilalt, where we will visit the oldest souks in Morocco and get to know a lot of old things. After that we will head back into the desert, where we will pass several Berber villages, and we will walk our way around the village of Ramlia. Its gardens and we meet the Berber families with whom we share a pitcher of mint, we make our way with them through one of the forests in which the Dakar Rally competition is taking place, an adventure we experience off-road and tranquility. In the wild desert, our destination will be Auberge Oasis el Marche to relax and prepare for the next day
After breakfast, we will go on an unparalleled tour in the wilderness, where we will pass a group of backpackers grazing sheep, we will cook food and bring teapot in the wilderness and there is a lot to visit, at the end of the day we return to the hotel to relax and prepare for the next day
