Itinerary: Day trip to Essaouira from Marrakech
The Essaouira day trip from Marrakech starts at 8 am in summer and 9 am in winter and we drive for about 3 hours to reach this city formerly known by the name of Mogador. Here in Essaouira lived many people from the Romans to the Portuguese, not to mention Arabs and Berbers. We will explore the medina and admire its 18th-century Portuguese fortifications. We continue visiting a forest of argan trees. We will enjoy lunch in the port/beach area of Essaouira, one of the best places to eat seafood. Then in the afternoon at 4 pm, we return to Marrakech.
