Itinerary: 8 Days Tour From Tangier via desert to Marrakech

Day 1: Tangier – Tetouan – Chefchaouen.

After your arrival in Tangier, we pick you up from the port or the airport. We leave for Chauen making a stop in the city of Tetuán, called the Spanish city. Arrival in the afternoon to Chefchaouen, where we will guide you for a complete visit of the blue city. Stroll through its streets and old houses painted in azure blue and white and also contemplate its beautiful panoramic views. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel in Place Chaouen.

Day 2: Chefchaouen – Roman Ruin – Meknez – Fez.

Early departure through the mountain villages of Jbala. After about 4 hours by car, we arrive in Fez, one of the four imperial cities named after Marrakech, Meknes and Rabat. Fez is considered the most religious and cultural center of Morocco. Night in a riad or hotel.

Day 3: visit of Fez.

Full day dedicated to the discovery of the intellectual city of the kingdom. We will visit many monuments, we also recommend that you use an official guide, who will show you the most interesting places such as: Medersas (Koranic schools): Chahrij, Bouinania Attarin, souk, Fes El-Jadid, Karaouine Mosque ( the first university in the world). Day 4: Fez – Ifrane – Azrou – Monkey Forest – Erfoud – Merzouga desert.

From Fez we go to the Middle Atlas, we will visit Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Africa, we will visit the Berber village of Azrou known for its crafts, carpets and wood carving, then we will arrive at Midelt (the road is followed by the Tizi Talghemt or Camel Neck, 1,907 m above sea level). We will spend the night in the Berber desert camp.

Day 5: Merzouga – Todra Gorges, Valley of the Roses, Skoura Palm Grove – Ouarzazate.

We leave for Rissani, then for the Ksar de Touroug framed by spectacular oases. Then we arrive at Tinejdad Tinerhir and after lunch we hike through the Todra gorge. Then we cross the beautiful Dades Boulmane Valley and visit Kelâa I – Gouna – Valley of the Roses, in full bloom during the month of May. We arrive in Ouarzazate, we visit the Kasbah, and there is the possibility of visiting Taourirt, which was the residence of the Pasha of Marrakech.

Day 6: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Talouet -Marrakech.

We will go to Marrakech via Tiz -in-pass (2260m) We will have the opportunity to visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou (UNESCO heritage). Then we continue our trip to the Capital of the Pasha of Marrakech by visiting his kasbah Talouet. Day 7: Marrakech – Marrakech.

We will have a city tour in the morning.
